Why We Built This
CSS promised us text that flows around any shape. That was 2013. We're still waiting. Pretext doesn't wait for specs — it reflows text around arbitrary contours at 60fps, in pure JS, no Canvas. Draw a shape, drag its edges, and watch text pour into it like water finding its level. Twelve lines of code. We built this because magazine-style layouts on the web shouldn't require a magazine's budget.
